The contents of this web site are the property of AUSU, The Voice and/or the content creators and may only be used for your personal non-commercial purposes.

COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP

Athabasca University Students' Union and The Voice fully own the copyright for all written materials, photographs, graphics and other content on our websites with the exception of Voice articles, for which we have online printing rights and reprint rights, but the authors retain ownership and the right to reprint or resell their articles. Additionally, some photos are the property of Athabasca University, and are reprinted on our site with permission.

AUSU and The Voice cannot grant reprint permission for Voice articles or Athabasca University's photographs, but may direct you to the owner of these materials.

RE-USE OF AUSU AND THE VOICE CONTENT IN PRINTED FORM

(a) Articles, photos, and other content for which the copyright is owned by AUSU or The Voice may not be reprinted, republished, or otherwise redistributed without the express written permission of AUSU, The Voice, or in the case of Voice articles, the author.

(b) To obtain such permission, please contact ausu@ausu.org for queries about content on the AUSU site, or voice@ausu.org for queries about content on the Voice site.

(c) A fee may or may not be charged for reprint permission of an article, photo, or other content at the sole discretion of AUSU or The Voice.

RE-USE OF AUSU OR THE VOICE CONTENT ON THE INTERNET

(a) Quoting from a copyrighted source may be permissible, as long as it is consistent with the "fair use" doctrine of Copyright Law. But no copyrighted work may be used in its entirety, in "substantial" proportion, without proper citation of source, or otherwise in violation of the "fair use" doctrine. AUSU and The Voice welcome hyperlinks from other websites, and understand that limited quotations are a normal accompaniment to such links. Though not legally required, AUSU and The Voice would appreciate notification of such re-use of its copyrighted content.
