Councillor
Sarah Kertcher

Hello fellow AUSU members!

I am pleased to be representing AUSU for my second term, and thank you all for your support!

I have been an AU student since 2004, and am slowly but surely working away at my B. Mgmt degree! I started my university career taking fashion design at a B&M in Richmond, BC. but decided I needed a change of pace and moved to Banff, and then Canmore Alberta. This is where I discovered AU, and I've been sold ever since!

In 2005, my then boyfriend and I moved back to BC, and AU came with! I'm now happily married, and we welcomed our first addition (and future AU student!) to the family in May 2008.

In addition to serving my second term on council, I also served as VP of Finance & Administration for two terms. My experience in finance comes primarily from working at a full service brokerage firm for the past 5 years.

On a more personal side, I love to travel, and be active. I play competitively on 3 baseball teams, as well as snow & water ski. Basically anything that can be done outside, or inside for that matter, I'll do it or try it! I also like to garden, although I'm not very good at it! I enjoy reading, sewing, and playing games!

You can find me in the forums on a regular basis, as well as in the chat, so feel free to come out and chat!
