ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY:

AUSU webspace

AUSU webspace includes the main AUSU website, and all other websites residing on any web server space that has been paid for by AUSU.

AUSU members are entitled to one account each on the AUSU website. To obtain an account, members must enter a valid name and AU student ID number, and must be AUSU members as defined in AUSU policy.

AUSU may verify any name and ID number combination to verify student status. This may be done at any time, even to previously active accounts. Any account that is not found to belong to a valid AU student will be deleted by AUSU, as will any duplicate accounts held by one member.

AUSU may also prohibit access to the AUSU Website if the account holder - or any other person with access to the account holder's account or login information - is abusive to other members of AUSU [as determined by a vote of AUSU council], or if the member or other user of his/her account uses AUSU webspace for illegal purposes, for promoting hatred or violence toward any group, for making libellous claims, or refusing to comply with a request to cease aggressive postings.

This policy is subject to change at any time.
