What inspires you while studying at AU? Tell us for a chance to win $250!
AUSU is giving away $10,000 in prizes to AU students to help ring in the new year and to engage with members online! We want to hear from AU students about what inspires them while studying at Athabasca University.
Post a story, comment, favourite quote, or picture to social media about what inspires you in your AU journey, tag @AUStudentsUnion, and be entered to win an $250 Amazon gift card.

- Post a public picture, story, quote, and/or comment about what inspires you while studying at Athabasca University to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
- Tag @AUStudentsUnion in your post.
- Get automatically entered to win one of 40 Amazon gift cards worth $250 each!
Must be a current AUSU member (AU undergraduate student) to qualify and the post must be public. Students who enter the contest agree to allow AUSU to reshare their post on AUSU social media platforms. Winners will be selected by random draw after the contest closes.

Contest Terms
Students may submit more than one entry into the contest. Each entry will provide another chance to win a prize, however only one prize will be granted per person. Entry posts may be shared on AUSU social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, the AUSU website, and the AUSU e-newsletter without compensation to the entrant.
Following the contest deadline, the prize winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received by AUSU by the stated deadline. The prize winners will be contacted via the platform they used to submit their entry and will be required to submit their name and AU student ID number to AUSU to verify their student status. The prize winners’ names will be announced, and entry posts may be shared on AUSU social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, the AUSU website, and the AUSU e-newsletter.
Chances of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Unclaimed prize(s) will be redistributed. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded, without substitution.
All federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations apply. Awarding of prize is subject to verification of winner as a current AUSU member. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or determination by AUSU that the selected entrant is ineligible will result in disqualification. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to AUSU to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for the purposes of advertising.
By accepting their prize, prize winners agree to hold harmless AUSU and its respective affiliates, council, employees, advertising and promotion agencies and assigns against any and all claims and liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal injury or death) arising out of use of prize. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Contest Terms and the decisions of AUSU.
