Join us on September 7th at 5:00 p.m. MT on Zoom for Welcome Week by AUSU, in partnership with Athabasca University (AU)! This free and open annual event welcomes new or continuing AU undergraduates and provides an introduction (or refresher) to the university and students’ union.

Opening remarks from AUSU President Naju Syed will be followed by welcome messages from AU President Dr. Alex Clark and Nukskahtowin Chair Priscilla Campeau. Then the AUSU Team will present what the AU Students’ Union does for AU undergraduates, followed by introductions to AU senior administration members Dr. Matt Prineas, Dr. Alain May, and each of the AU Faculty Deans.

These introductions will be followed by a “Top 5 Student Tips” presentation from Serena Elliott from the AU Information Centre. The presentation will highlight five helpful things to know while navigating your academic journey at AU.

A casual Q&A session will take place after the presentation to give students an opportunity to ask any follow-up questions they may have.
