My name is Nadia; Learning has been a lifestyle I have chosen to adopt throughout my life. As a student, single parent of children with disabilities, and learning challenges of my own, I feel that I could successfully advocate for those with diverse challenges.
I have experienced the joys and challenges that come along with the various scholastic areas. Experience, such as self-advocacy for my learning disabilities and having others advocate on my behalf to continue achieving the best possible educational results. This means that I have personal knowledge and compassion toward the importance of having your voice heard.
The focus of my attention will be directed at each individual student’s unique needs. Keeping with schools Accessibility, Accommodation, and Flexibility while working with teachers’ accountability towards their students that fall within this frame. In addition, advocating professionally and courteously with all involved to establish a relevant and acceptable solution for all.
