MEC Committee

The Member Engagement and Communications Committee provides suggestions and feedback on AUSU communications, social media content, and events to help grow the AU student community and encourage a stronger connection with our members. The committee is chaired by the Vice-President Community and Wellness (VPCW) and has up to five (5) additional members appointed by Council.

Joining the Member Engagement and Communications Committee

Up to two (2) AU undergraduates can sit on the MEC Committee as members-at-large.

If you are interested in joining the MEC Committee as a member-at-large or getting involved with AUSU committees, please email for information. AUSU committees run on annual terms that change over each April.
