The Athabasca University Students’ Union (AUSU) takes your privacy very seriously and adheres to the Privacy of Protection Act of Alberta.
Our website does not gather any personal information from you automatically; any such information is only obtained if you provide it voluntarily (such as using our “Contact Us” page, filling out an application for an AUSU award or bursary, or signing up for our forums), and all such personal information is managed according to the Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta (PIPA).
Like many websites, the Students’ Union gathers certain information about visitors to its sites automatically through Google Analytics. This information includes Internet Protocol addresses, referring and exit pages, operating system, date and time stamp, and clickstream data.
