Tammy Monro

Hello fellow AU Undergraduate students!

I am currently in my 3rd year of my Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, working towards my degree part-time while also working full-time in the field of suicide prevention. I hope to complete my degree before moving on to AU’s Master of Counselling program which will allow me to become a registered psychologist working with individuals who are experiencing mental health or suicide-related crises as well as those bereaved by a traumatic loss. I have a passion for supporting individuals and families during some of the worst days of their lives as well as advocating for and supporting those who experience ongoing challenges with their mental health.

Outside of my studies and work, I am a mom of two teenagers and enjoy crafting in many mediums such as crochet, sewing, and leatherwork.
