Come meet Chris Kennedy (he/him) from Fierté Canada Pride, the national association of Canadian Pride organizations!
Fierté Canada Pride (FCP)
Fierté Canada Pride is the national association of Pride organizations across Turtle Island (Canada), run by volunteers. Their main goal is to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and two-spirited Prides on a national level.
Their mission is to strengthen Pride organizations and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities by elevating equity-denied and global majority peoples, practicing reconciliation in action, collaborating intentionally, building capacity, and advocating for systemic change.
Chris Kennedy (he/him) is the Board Communications Director for FCP and identifies as polyamorous. He has been a Board Member since 2021. Chris is also a Director at Large of the Vancouver Pride Society, currently in the 2nd year of his term. He is known for his open, honest, and succinct communication skills, as well as his passion for body- and sex- positivity for and within the queer community.

Be inspired by the mission and work of the Rainbow Railroad, with Brittany Skerritt (she/they) presenting!
Rainbow Railroad
Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps 2SLGBTQIA+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics. In a time when there are more displaced people than ever before, 2SLGBTQIA+ people are uniquely vulnerable due to systemic, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia. These factors either displace them in their own country or prevent them from escaping harm.
As a result of Rainbow Railroad, more 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals will be able to access lives free from persecution. Since its founding in 2006, the organization has helped more than 7,500 individuals find safety through emergency relocation and other forms of assistance. Their story has received international media attention, including a feature on CBS 60 Minutes.
