lynda.com is the world’s premier video training website, with thousands of on-line courses taught by industry experts, and more added every week. lynda.com is designed for all levels of learners and is available whenever you’re ready to learn. You can view it on any device, and the courses are highly accessible including closed captioning and text transcripts!
AU students will especially benefit from training in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You can also access training on Adobe Cloud, Windows, Computer Programming, Photography, Photoshop, Graphics Design, Marketing, Game Design, and much more!
Those seeking career help will benefit from the business skills courses, which include career development advice such as how to do well in an interview, and strategies for job searches.
Who is eligible?
To qualify for the program you must be a current member of AUSU. Membership is included with all AU courses taken for credit (0-credit and audit courses are excluded, and no membership fees are collected for these courses) by undergraduate students. Membership begins on your course start date and ends when your final grade is posted or your contract date arrives, whichever comes first.
To activate your membership:
- Select the link below to go to the lynda.com site.
- You will be asked to provide your first name, last name, and student ID. These must match your AU registration information exactly.
- The site will automatically check to see if you are a current member. Once you are validated, you’ll be taken to the lynda.com AUSU portal to create your free account. It will remain active for one year from creation.
