Wellness Support Program

AUSU was proud to have provided AU students with access to a wellness program called the Student Lifeline from 2015 to 2018, in partnership with AUGSA. Athabasca University has now taken over offering a Wellness Program through Homewood Health. AUSU will continue to advocate for mental health services going forward to ensure AU upholds the level of mental health support that AU students have grown to know and depend on.

Homewood Health offers a comprehensive wellness support program to meet your mental health and wellness needs. If you are struggling and need support, you can call Homewood Health’s 24/7 support line. There are many service options available, including counselling, coaching, and a variety of web-based services and resources that you can access from your phone, tablet, or desktop. Counselling services are offered by certified mental health professionals with Master’s level training or higher, and is available in over 150 languages. These services are free, as part of your wellness support program offered courtesy of Athabasca University.
