The Voice Magazine is the official weekly publication of the Athabasca University (AU) undergraduate student community. Enjoy engaging content written and published by fellow AU students and guest writers from other universities, dropping news, ideas, opinions, and insights right into your inbox!
About The Voice
The Voice Magazine has been the student publication at AU since 1992. Although it is made possible through funding from the Athabasca University Students’ Union (AUSU), The Voice is managed by independent staff separate from those at the AUSU.
The mission of The Voice is to provide a quality magazine composed of articles that are created by AU students, for AU students, to share news, ideas, opinions, and insights that matter to AU undergraduates.
Write for The Voice
The Voice Magazine relies on the efforts of student writers to contribute, as it is both a community project of the student body and a collaborative production of ourselves as learners and as individuals. All levels of experience are welcome!
Writers for The Voice have the opportunity to showcase their work as part of a credible post-secondary publication and are paid a stipend per individual article. If you are interested in writing for your AU student publication, please contact:
